Re-Opening Party to celebrate!

Starting Thursday, November 16th and running through Sunday, November 19th, the Starplex Corpus Stadium 16 will host a number of fun and exciting events where lucky patrons can win prizes through contests and giveaways and even enjoy a night at the movies for free.

You'll be able to see some of the exciting changes that we've already made, like the addition of a brand-new coffee bar featuring gourmet coffee. Plus you'll get a look at even more changes on the horizon, including a new ice cream bar and café seating area, private birthday party rooms and new concession items including Blue Bell ice cream, pizza and more.

Thursday Night Party
The Starplex Corpus Stadium 16 will host an invitation-only evening of entertainment on Thursday, November 16th. Guests will receive free popcorn, candy, drinks, games and admission to a movie screening. Doors will open for pass-holders at 6:00 p.m. and movies will start at 7:00 p.m..

'Flushed Away' Coloring Contest
Starplex Cinemas and the Corpus Christi Caller-Times are co-sponsoring a coloring contest for children featuring the characters from the new family adventure 'Flushed Away'. The grand prize winner will be announced on Sunday, November 19th live on Oldies 93.9 FM between 1:00-3:00 p.m.. The top four entries will receive prizes and the grand prize winner will win a Nintendo Gamecube and a copy of the new Flushed Away video game.

To enter the coloring contest, get your copy of the coloring sheet in November 3rd edition of the Corpus Christi Caller-Times or download a copy here. (Adobe Acrobat Reader required to download.) Color the page, fill out the entry information and turn the page into the Corpus Stadium 16 between November 3rd - 18th. Then come back on Sunday, November 19th to see if you've won and collect your prize.

Submitted coloring sheets will be displayed at the theater in the weeks leading up to the contest.

Hot Dog Eating Contest
Do you have the biggest stomach in South Texas? Or at least the quickest mouth? Enter our Hot Dog Eating Contest and chew your way to glory at the Starplex Corpus Stadium 16, the home of the $1 hot dog.

The contest will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18th and will be broadcast live on K-99 (KRYS 99.1 FM). ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR THE HOT DOG EATING CONTEST HAS ENDED.

Your favorite radio stations and more...
We'll also have the hottest stations and your favorite radio personalities broadcasting live from the Starplex Corpus Stadium 16 all weekend long! During all of the radio remotes, there will be prize giveaways.

• Friday: Tejano station KSAB 99.9 FM from 5-7 p.m.
• Saturday: Country station K-99 from 12-2 p.m. (including hot dog eating contest)
• Saturday: Rock station C-101 from 4-6 p.m.
• Sunday: Oldies station 93.9 from 1-3 p.m. (including coloring contest announcement)

We'll also be raffling off great prizes like a 9-pound Nestle candy bar, movie memorabilia, a NASCAR leather jacket, a Sony PlayStation 2 and a copy of the Madden '07 video game.
