Starplex Cinemas adds location in Corpus Christi, TX September 14, 2006 CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - Starplex Cinemas has acquired the former Cinemark Tinsletown Movies 16 theatre in Corpus Christi, TX and will begin operating it as the Starplex Stadium 16 beginning this Friday, September 15. The theater is located at 5218 Silverberry, near the intersection of South Padre Island Drive and the Crosstown Expressway. The theatre can be reached at (361) 814-8518 or on the web at www.starplexcinemas.com.The Starplex Stadium 16 will continue to feature the latest Hollywood blockbusters at new, lower admission prices. Ticket prices will be $4.00 for all shows before 6pm and all shows beginning after 6pm will be $6.00. Students, seniors, and kids will be $4.00 anytime. Also, military personnel can purchase a discounted evening admission ticket for just $5.00. The Starplex Stadium 16 features stadium plush high back rocker seating with cup holder arm rests for patron’s convenience, as well as digital surround sound and wall to wall screens in all auditoriums.
