'The Guardian' Sneak Preview

Starplex Cinemas and Touchstone Pictures are pleased to announce that the Starplex Galaxy 16 in Waco, TX will host special advance screening of the new action drama The Guardian on September 16th.

After losing his crew in a fatal crash, legendary Rescue Swimmer, Ben Randall, is sent to teach at "A" School, an elite training program for Coast Guard Rescue Swimmers. Wrestling with the loss of his crew members, he throws himself into teaching, turning the program upside down with his unorthodox training methods.

While there, he encounters a young, cocky swim champ, Jake Fischer, who is driven to be the best. During training, Randall helps mold Jake's character, combining his raw talent with the heart and dedication required of a Rescue Swimmer.

The Guardian is directed by Andrew Davis (The Fugitive, Under Siege) and stars Kevin Coster as Ben Randall and Ashton Kutchner as Jake Fischer.

The Guardian will be shown at 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, September 16th at the Starplex Galaxy 16 (333 South Valley Mills Drive) in Waco, TX.

Tickets for this advance screening are now on sale at the Galaxy 16's box office. Regular engagement begins Friday, September 29th.

"The Guardian", a Touchstone Pictures release, has a running time of 136 minutes and is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of action/peril, brief strong language and some sensuality.
