Brazos Stadium 14 to hold 80s Athletic Wear Costume Contest and Ping Pong Challenge

Ping Pong Starplex Cinemas is the place for great entertainment this Labor Day Weekend and the Starplex Brazos Stadium 14 in Lake Jackson is looking to add a little excitement to the mix.

We're looking for the best of the best - the best dressed athletes and the fiercest table tennis warriors in Brazoria County. To find them, we're holding a pair of contests this weekend. Those that emerge victorious will win memorabilia from the new comedy "Balls of Fury" and free movie passes.

Many will enter. Few will survive. Are you up to the challenge?

1980s ATHLETIC WEAR COSTUME CONTEST: Put on your best 80s athletic wear and come by the Brazos Stadium 14 this weekend to have your picture taken. The best three entries will win great prizes.

PING PONG CHALLENGE: The Starplex Brazos Stadium 14's ultimate table tennis tournament starts Saturday at noon. Participants will face off in a round-by-round format, with the champion claiming not only ultimate glory, but also a nice collection of "Balls of Fury" memorabilia. To enter, stop by the theater box office.
