'Live Free or Die Hard' Midnight Premieres and Opening Week Tickets Now On Sale

Starplex Cinemas and 20th Century Fox are pleased to announce that two Starplex Cinemas locations will host special midnight premiere showings of the new action adventure Live Free or Die Hard this Tuesday evening.

Movie-goers will have their first chance to see Live Free or Die Hard at midnight on Tuesday night at the Starplex Galaxy 16 in Waco, TX and the Starplex Stadium 16 in Corpus Christi, TX. Tickets for the premiere showings are on sale now at the theaters' box offices and online at starplexcinemas.com.

In addition to these special premiere showings, tickets for opening week showings of Live Free or Die Hard are now on sale at select first-run Starplex Cinemas locations.

It’s the beginning of the holiday, but New York City Detective McClane isn’t celebrating. He’s had yet another argument with his college-age daughter Lucy, and received a crushingly routine assignment to bring in a young hacker, Matt Farrell, for questioning by the FBI. But for McClane, the ordinary has a habit of exploding into the extraordinary – abruptly hurtling him into the wrong place at the wrong time.

With Farrell’s help, McClane slowly begins to understand the increasing chaos surrounding him. An attack is underway on the vulnerable United States infrastructure, shutting down the entire nation. The mysterious figure behind the scheme, Thomas Gabriel, stays several moves ahead of McClane as he implements his incredible plans, known to uber-geeks like Farrell as a “fire sale” (as in, everything must go!).

Live Free or Die Hard is directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld, Underworld: Evolution) and stars Bruce Willis, Timothy Olyphant and Justin Long.
