'Spider-Man 3' Midnight Premieres and Opening Week Tickets Now On Sale

Starplex Cinemas and Sony Pictures Entertainment are pleased to announce that eight Starplex Cinemas locations will host special midnight premiere showings of the new superhero action adventure Spider-Man 3 at 12:01 a.m. on May 4th (Thursday night/Friday morning).

In addition to these special premiere showings, tickets for all opening week showings of Spider-Man 3 are now on sale at all first-run Starplex Cinemas locations.

Peter Parker has finally managed to strike a balance between his devotion to M.J. and his duties as a superhero. But when his suit suddenly changes, turning jet-black and enhancing his powers, it transforms Peter as well, bringing out the dark, vengeful side of his personality that he is struggling to control.

Forced to choose between the seductive power of the new suit and the compassionate hero he used to be, Peter must overcome his personal demons as two of the most-feared villains yet, Sandman and Venom, gather unparalleled power and a thirst for retribution to threaten Peter and everyone he loves.

Spider-Man 3 is directed by Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2) and stars Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson, Thomas Hayden Church as Sandman, and Topher Grace as Venom.
